There is nothing on our side to delete. Our apps have no accounts, send nothing anywhere, and store everything on your device. Uninstalling an app erases all of its data. If you would like that confirmed in writing, email kyled@beaconlightinvestments.com.
Puzzle progress, saved boards, completed-puzzle history, statistics, settings, and — in apps that work with your photographs — those photographs, are written to each app's own private storage on your device. None of it is transmitted, because the apps contain no code capable of making a network request, and we cannot read any of it.
We cannot delete on-device data for you, and this is not a policy choice. The data never leaves your device, so there is nothing on our side to reach in and remove. Uninstalling is the complete and final erasure.
Nothing. Our apps have no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising, and they make no network requests. We have no user database, no advertising identifier for you, and no record that you have ever opened one of our apps.
Purchase records are held by Apple and Google, not by us. We never receive your payment details. Those records are part of your store account and are governed by Apple's and Google's own policies; we cannot delete them, and a request to us cannot reach them. Contact the store directly.
Our web server keeps ordinary access logs — the requesting IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser's user-agent string — which is how the server is operated and secured. They come from your browser, not from any app, and they are not linked to any identity. If you want log entries associated with your IP address removed, email us and say so.
You are welcome to send one, and we would rather answer than have you wonder. Email kyled@beaconlightinvestments.com with the subject line Data deletion request, and say which app and which platform.
We do not ask you to prove your identity, because we hold nothing that identifies you.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to access, correct, export, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to complain to your local data protection authority. The Privacy Policy sets those out. Use the same email address for any of them.
If a future version of any Get Puzzled app adds analytics, crash reporting, or advertising, this page is rewritten with a real deletion procedure before that version ships, alongside the privacy policy and the store disclosures. Nothing starts collecting quietly on an update.
Our apps are for people aged 13 and over and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, contact us — though as above, there is no route by which an app could have sent us any.
