These terms are between you and Beacon Light Investments ("we", "us"). By downloading or using any Get Puzzled app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the apps.
You must be at least 13 years old to use these apps. They are not intended for and are not directed to children under 13. By using an app you confirm that you are 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the apps only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms.
We may terminate access where we learn that a user is under 13.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to the rules of the store you obtained them from.
Some apps offer a one-time purchase that unlocks additional content permanently. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms, and refunds are handled by them under their policies — we cannot issue refunds directly. A one-time unlock applies to the app it was bought in, on accounts you are signed into with that store.
Our apps contain no advertising and collect no data about you. If that ever changes, the Privacy Policy is updated before the version that changes it ships, and you are asked in the app before any collection begins.
Some apps let you use your own photographs. You keep all rights to them. We do not claim ownership, and they are processed on your device. Where an app offers a feature that sends something you made to another person, you are responsible for what you send and for having the right to send it.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue an app or any feature. We will not remove a feature you have paid for without offering a reasonable remedy.
The apps are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here excludes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the apps is limited to the amount you paid us for them in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the state and federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction — except where the law of your country or state of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
We may update these terms. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the apps after a change means you accept the updated terms.
