Privacy Policy — Terrazzo

Last updated: 17 August 2026 · Applies to the Get Puzzled Terrazzo app.

This page must be reconciled with Terrazzo's App Store privacy nutrition label and its Google Play Data Safety form. Today all three should say that no data is collected.

The short version

Terrazzo collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no server of ours for anything to go to. Your boards, your progress, your settings and any photographs you import stay on your device.

Who we are

Terrazzo is published by Get Puzzled, operated by Beacon Light Investments, Hillsborough County, Florida, United States. For any privacy question, contact kyled@beaconlightinvestments.com.

What Terrazzo collects

Nothing. The app contains no analytics library, no crash-reporting library and no advertising library. We operate no server that the app talks to, we have no user database, and we hold no record that you have ever opened it.

What Terrazzo does not access

What stays on your device

Boards in progress, tile positions, move counts, completed-level history, stars, timing, the free-play limits you have been granted, appearance and play settings, and any photographs you import — including the square copy the app makes of each one. All of it is written to the app's own private storage. We cannot read any of it. Deleting the app deletes all of it; see the Data Deletion Policy.

Your photographs

When you import a picture for free play, Terrazzo crops it square, resizes it, and keeps that copy in its own storage. It does this so a board you started still opens later even if you delete, edit, or offload the original — a saved puzzle that cannot find its picture is a broken save, not a missing photo.

That copy is never uploaded, never shared, and never seen by us. Removing the photo in the app deletes the copy and any board still using it. Uninstalling removes all of them.

Network use

Terrazzo needs no connection to play: every picture and every level ships inside the app, and it works identically with no signal. There are exactly two things that use the network, and neither sends anything to us.

Purchases

Terrazzo offers a single one-time purchase that unlocks the rest of the level collection and lifts the limit on imported photographs. It is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never receive or store your payment details, and we receive no information about you from the store beyond whether the purchase is valid. The app keeps a local note of what you own so that it is correct offline and on the first frame; that note never leaves the device.

Sharing

We share nothing, because we hold nothing. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Retention

We hold no personal data, so there is nothing for us to retain or to set a retention period on. Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict its processing. Those rights attach to data a company holds about you, and we hold none. Write to kyled@beaconlightinvestments.com and we will answer within the period required by applicable law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes, and what would trigger one

Terrazzo is built with no analytics or advertising libraries at all, and that is a decision about the product rather than a stage it is passing through. If it ever changed, this policy would be updated before that version shipped, the store privacy disclosures would be updated to match, and you would be asked for consent in the app before any collection began. Nothing starts collecting quietly on an update.

The publisher-wide policy covering all six Get Puzzled games is at /privacy. Where the two differ, this page governs Terrazzo.
